A story about annache

The wind bellowed throughout the extravagent lands that comprised the Roman Empire. The wave of fur coats that had been packed away during the summer had been retrieved and there, beyond a fireplace, the Romans sat and warmed their delicate bodies, the fur rapped around them to insulate the heat.

Women and children remained inside for the most part of the day and men, when health overruled the decision of going out, also remained within the extreme comfort the barriers of their homes provided for them.

Beyond all this, there was only one very young woman who put on a more sanguine expression and left the doors of her master’s home to embrace the beauty of nature. It was always when she reached the enchanting fields of Rome that she began to run, and if someone was watching they would see her hair flying behind her, like silk being set loose, and when the sun rose they would see that it were the same colored beauty of the sun, so similar it was indistinguishable and the gold it reflected made it as blinding as it was unique.

As she ran, she sang remedies for the birds flying above her, for the butterflies flapping their brilliant wings in the sunshine and kept singing until she was stopped by the angelic awness of a magnificent black rose.

She slowly touched the smoothness of it’s petals and could not imagine how a black rose came to be so fascinatingly wonderful. From then on, she ran to see it everyday, and she felt the strong attraction of likeness between them as beauty of the sort was so rare, and she hereself was indeed so divine that many others who looked upon her being could only be envious.

One day a storm raged throughout Rome, and she felt gloomy and dejected untill it ended and was able to leave shelter and run to see what had sadly become of the rose.

When she arrived she could not find it,
and even though she searched the whole area once and twice more it had disappeared from reality and become a mere part of a grand dream.

She cried, and even in sadness, she was beautiful and angelic and it was as though she broke the heart of those animals around her for the birds began to sing for her, and the squirrels moved closer to comfort her unhappy being. When she went back to say her farewells she noticed that there was something little and black growing out of the ground once more and as she looked upon she saw what it was, A little black rose, just one, like her, just a little black divine rose…

Knowing so little about my life, somehow you touched on so many of its different facets.

I have no doubt that you could be a brilliant script writer!

Thank you!!
